Most vitrified tiles print a design onto the surface of a plain-coloured body — chip that surface and you see the base colour underneath. A Full Body Vitrified tile is made from a single, colour-consistent raw material mix pressed and fired all the way through, so the same colour and density continue right to the underside of the tile. That makes it the most impact- and abrasion-resistant vitrified format available, at the cost of more limited surface design detail than a printed (GVT) tile.
