What is a Soluble Salt tile?
Soluble Salt is a printing technique where soluble salts are applied to the unfired tile surface and allowed to absorb a short depth into the body before firing. This creates naturally randomised veining and colour depth that closely resembles real marble, rather than a flat digital print sitting only on top. The tile is then polished for a deep, glossy, stone-like sheen — giving the elegance of marble without its porosity, staining risk or maintenance.
